You knew Canfield Bikes was up to something rad when they moved their headquarters to Colorado earlier this year.
Now we know what it was.
The all-new Canfield Balance is a 169-millimeter, 27.5-inch shred sled that’s ready for your terrible line choices and meant for big hits in the bike park, but it’s also gonna get you to the top the old-fashioned way when you decide your fat ass needs to burn some calories and get #fitAF.
The Limited version features a polished raw mirror-finish aluminum frame, rainbow oil-slick links and a numbered production badge featuring Lance Canfield’s signature. Only 100 of those will be produced.
The bike will come in two other metallic flake colors as well–desert loam (burnt orange) and deep space (dark blue).
Buyers can choose a frame or complete bike option for the aluminum rig, which has a 64-degree head angle with a 170-millimeter fork (with the ability to run up to a 180mm fork) and short 16.5-inch chainstays to keep even slow runs with your Joey friends exciting.
Most insane, is that a frame costs as little as $1899 dollars. A complete bike, including a DVO Diamond D1 Boost 170mm fork, DVO Jade X Coil, DT Swiss E1900 Spline 30 wheels, Spank cockpit, SRAM G2 RS brakes, and SDG Tellis 150mm seatpost is as little as $3299 dollars. The Limited is $100 dollars more.
We can’t wait to get our hands (and feet) on one and perform some proper Canfield-style shredding!
